Happy Birthday, KC!

My dear sweet dog K.C. is 14 today! She was six when we rescued her & has been a bright light in our lives ever since. K.C. has had a myriad of health issues over the last year or so which makes us especially thankful to celebrate her b-day.

I made her b-day bandana on her very first b-day with us.

I tried to do some spring planting today but I didn’t get too much done because I had my little helper assisting. She had fun though and at least we got one container planted. Can’t complain about some fun in the sun with my girl. Baby Reid slept on the porch as usual.

So I know that container looks a little, well BORING but I learned the hard way last year that those plants will overtake anything else in the pot. Should look much better in a few weeks.

Also, a shout-out to my first followers. Yay!! I cheered out loud I was so excited. It definitely makes me a little more inspired to blog. Thanks Cara & Rachel!
