I had an eventful weekend. Saturday I was planning on a day @ the mall with my sister to spend this. I was super excited because I haven’t been shopping in a long time. It is hard to get away when you are nursing so this trip to the mall was extra special and carefully planned.
Never made it to the mall. My sister had the idea to stop at TCBY on the way there. I wasn’t going to argue about that. I walked in & sitting inside were six of my college friends/teammates. Sneaky Mr. C had arranged a surprise 30th b-day party for me and I was SHOCKED. They had driven/flown in to spend the day with me. One of my friends came all the way from Boston.
We spent the day on a boat @ the lake and a happy evening with friends at our house. It was my first time hosting a party that I hadn’t planned. Luckily, Mr. C knows me well enough to know that if I had known about the party I would have gone crazy preparing and planning. Also, he knows what I like and enlisted my mom & sis to make it happen.

There were purple tablecloths in honor of Furman where I went to college. It was a reunion party really and a joy to see such good friends. Mr. C just might be husband of the year now.

Happy Birthday! What a fun surprise party! I LOVE the hydrangeas. We just moved & we have 4 huge hydrangea bushes in our front yard. Love them! Hope you have a fantastic birthday! I turned 30 last year…it isn’t as bad as I thought
