Dear Friends,
You know you like mirrors when there are two in your kitchen. I’m starting to feel like the crazy mirror lady. I’ve been wanting to use the beachy sunburst mirror from the old house (desk area) in Lacey’s room but I wanted more color and art instead of another mirror. Yes, she already has one and we don’t want to become the house of horrors.
I unscrewed the back of the mirror to see if I could cover it in fabric. I chose fabric instead of an art print because I didn’t want to have glass cut for a frame. Also, I figured it would add texture and be visually appealing.
I used a valence from Lacey’s old room as my fabric. I loved that sweet little curtain so it is like a piece of her old room remains!
Covering the mirror in spray adhesive kept the fabric from shifting once I placed it. It isn’t necessary if you don’t have it.
This was a 15 minute problem-free project. Woohoo for easy-peasy! There are so many cheap mirrors in stores these days that would make great frames.

That is really smart, Erin!! We have a couple mirrors laying around that I’m not sure what to do with. You just inspired me.
That is lovely. I love the fabric you chose.
