Painted Bookcase Backs {Inspiration Gallery}

Dear Friends,
You caught a sneak peek of our bookcase project this week. Beadboard + paint are in the works and I’m confident that it will make a really positive change in the room. In fact, after looking at the photos below I am 100% sure that painting that little bit of space is the perfect solution to the very heavy wood look that we have now.

You can paint to make an impact or you can go subtle. In our family room subtle works best because I don’t want to take away from the fireplace. I would have no objection to bright color for an impact in other spaces though.

Do you have a favorite? Mine is the simple dining room built-in (third from the bottom) but I really like them all!
