Dear Friends,
Sherwin Williams is having an awesome sale running just in time for our latest paint project. Reid’s room is going to undergo a major change. No more hunter green although I did like the color. He deserves a fresh start in this house just like the rest of us and I think the colors I finally decided on are more his speed.
I’m planning on light gray walls, a bright blue ceiling, and a single orange stripe. This color combination was born out of his desire for an orange room. Because he is two, his obsession could be gone with the wind by next Tuesday so I nixed the orange walls and went with a neutral. That being said, he has always been fond of the color so I decided an orange stripe was doable.
I have focused so much on the ceilings in this home that I didn’t want his to be left out. I love the idea of the cooler, sedated wall color with the bright cheerful ceiling.
I really like Sherwin Williams paint because they have the Harmony line which is no-VOC and low odor. Reid is a sensitive kid and with his sensory issues I didn’t want to take any chances.
Thanks goodness for coupons, right? Do you like the color combo or do you think I’m crazy?

Love the colors. My daughters room is orange. you look like you have jandice when you are in there. But, she’ll be grown soon enough and she loves it.
