Two Story Cottage

Welcome, Home.

Dear Friends,
Welcome, Home!  This is my new site and the permanent home for Two Story Cottage.  The change has been in progress for many months so to say that it is exciting to reveal is an understatement.  I know it is a little bit different than what you are used to but I hope you will grow to like the new platform.

I’m ready for an easier time commenting back & forth with readers. I’m also going to be accepting advertisers on the sidebar.  I’d love to help etsy shop owners and crafters promote their businesses.

WordPress is new to me so if you have any experience and/or advice, please let me know.  I know that it opens a lot of new possibilities but I’ll have to work through the learning curve first.

So, welcome to my new home & have a glass of sweet tea on me.  Or a printable anyway.

The printable is sized to 5 by 7.

Thanks for all of your continued support!

  1. I love the new look! Good luck with the switch. I am sure it will be fabulous.

  2. Hey girl! I’m so excited for you! The place looks great!

Now I’m full of questions. Would you mind to tell me who did the work for you? Or did you do the migration yourself?

Also, I was just wondering today how on earth to post a .pdf on my blog. I know how to CREATE one; I just don’t know how to share one! Is that a complicated process?

Told you I was full of questions! But mostly I’m full of admiration. I’m really proud for you!!

    • Thanks, Richella!!!

I used Tony Oravet from Evenpar Solutions but he isn’t taking any more bloggers right now unfortunately. My friend Kristi of Creative Kristi does migrations also for future reference.

I made my “printable” in PicMonkey and saved it regularly as a jpg. I then uploaded it to Google Documents and “shared” it which gave me a code to use as the link. I did switch from jpg to pdf first but it will do either. Once I finally figured that out it was a really simple process. Would be glad to help further!

  3. It’s very cute, Erin! I like the colors. :)

  4. I like it but I miss the front of your house.
